Broadband performance issues

We would like to apologise for the broadband performance issues experienced today. This was caused by a fault within RM’s SafetyNet service, specifically relating to load balancing, which impacted a large number of schools.

RM have been actively investigating and working to resolve the issue, and services have now stabilised.

Due to the scale of the incident, we experienced an exceptionally high volume of calls and tickets. As a result, we were unfortunately unable to respond to all customers as quickly as we would have liked. Please be assured that this was being treated as a priority throughout, and we were working closely with RM to obtain updates and push for resolution.
