Broadband performance issues

We would like to apologise for the broadband performance issues experienced today. This was caused by a fault within RM’s SafetyNet service, specifically relating to load balancing, which impacted a large number of schools.

RM have been actively investigating and working to resolve the issue, and services have now stabilised.

Due to the scale of the incident, we experienced an exceptionally high volume of calls and tickets. As a result, we were unfortunately unable to respond to all customers as quickly as we would have liked. Please be assured that this was being treated as a priority throughout, and we were working closely with RM to obtain updates and push for resolution.

We appreciate your patience and understanding during this disruption. If you continue to experience any issues, please do let us know.

Slow browsing

There are reports of slow internet again today. The HFL Support Team have logged this to RM.

Issues resolved

Broadband issues

There are a handful of schools reporting internet issues today. This is being investigated..

Broadband Portal

We are pleased to let you know that we now have a new service you can use ….at no extra cost.

RM have been busy developing a Broadband Portal.  Some HFL schools have been piloting this over the past few months, and we can now roll this service out further. If you are interested in this, please get in touch with us and we can take this forward.

BETT

As I am sure that many of you are aware, this week is BETT.
