RM SafetyNet Go – user based filtering for Chromebooks

With lots of schools converting to Google and introducing Chromebooks, a need has arisen for user based filtering on these devices.  One solution to this is to implement RM SafetyNet Go (formerly called RM Buzz).  Deploying this will mean that Chromebook users are filtered whether they are at school or at home, with all the same monitoring capabilities allowing you to run web filtering reports against your Google users.  You can also set up specific filtering policies based on your Google OU structure e.g. different levels of filtering for staff and students.  All of this can be managed within your existing SafetyNet account.

RM SafetyNet Go allows you to sync users from multiple sources including RM Unify or directly from G Suite for Education.  RM typically invoice us an additional annual charge of £450 PA, which we would add onto your HFL Broadband invoice.

If you are interested in purchasing RM SafetyNet Go then please contact the HFL Broadband service desk either using support@hfleducation.org or 01438 544466 Opt.1 then Opt.2.  Once you have it activated within your SafetyNet account, a guide to configuring and deploying it can be found here:
